ANATOLIA COMMONS is a walkable neighborhood concept in İzmir, Turkey, designed around a network of shared spaces that turn everyday routines into community life. Homes are organized in small clusters around courtyards and pocket gardens, while a central civic heart park, plaza, library, and weekly market form the district’s social and cultural anchor. Rather than relying on isolated amenities, the master plan builds identity through human-scale streets, shaded edges, and a continuous landscape that connects living, learning, and leisure in one coherent loop.

The masterplan is structured as a clear, legible system of centers and connections. Residential blocks form calm, shaded clusters with courtyards and garden edges, feeding into a continuous pedestrian network. At the core, a central park and civic plaza acts as the district’s primary gathering ground, anchored by community programs such as the library and weekly market. Streets are intentionally human-scaled and tree-lined, balancing access with comfort and creating a safe public realm where walking becomes the default experience.

A shared green heart designed for all ages play, picnics, and informal events anchored by a fountain landmark and framed by civic edges that keep the space active throughout the day.

The district’s public living room where learning, local commerce, and everyday meetings overlap. Shaded seating and a compact plaza layout support weekly markets, small events, and daily community life.

Tree-lined streets and front-facing homes create a comfortable, safe public realm. Slow movement, short blocks, and frequent social edges encourage daily walking and natural neighborhood interaction.
